This upcoming 'summit' meeting is odd. I have not seen any agenda for discussion. Apparently, President Trump simply told his staff that he wished to meet with Mr. Putin, and so the meeting was set.

Obviously, there is a lot that the two men could talk about: we have a arms treaty that expires next year, Syria rates discussion, oh, and the fact that Russia has been carrying out activities designed to cause division among Americans, as well as hacking computers and such.

We shall see.

Trump gives a recorded interview in which he criticizes May''s Brexit and trade strategies. Trump then calls himself a liar.

Correction:

Trump did announce that NATO nations had agreed to substantially increase their defense spending. Macron did call him out on it.

But the 4% is incorrect. This is what Trump wanted, but he did not say that other nations had agreed to 4%.

Sorry.

Everyone, including himself, called him a liar.

Now that is indeed funny.

Probably we won't "see" anything except a lot of smoke and mirrors...
If you expect anything positive to come from Trump and Putin getting together w/o someone to watch over Trump and keep him from selling America down the proverbial river, you must believe in Santa Claus...

With the time difference, Trumps lies are getting funnier then ever.

His feed is showing his lack of TV time.

Kind of nice. Makes for a quiet weekend.

Maybe he should spend more time in the UK.

LOL I think the UK would object to that.

Yeah just like NK it would be terrible to have a talking relationship with Russia and Putin. Why in the world would we want to try and make the world a safer place for our kids.

If you don't ask, you don't get.

Better to do an Obama and just let Putin run over you.

What are you talking about?

U.S. already has a "talking relationship" with Russia and Putin.

Nor did Obama let Putin run over us. Several rounds of sanctions over invasion of Ukraine, Magnitsky Act, meddling in our elections. The exact same sanctions that team Trump is forever trying to do away with. IIRC, Congress passed legislation to keep him from doing so without their involvement.

Claiming that Putin controlling our nation will make the world a safer place for our kids is lie.

Kids are never safe in a word run by ruthless dictators.

Google that if you doubt me.
