Republicans have mostly rejected Bush, Cheney, McCain, Rumsfeld, etc. while Dems continue to hang on to Clinton, Gore, Obama, etc. Dems, of course, were vicious to outsiders like Bernie during the election.

Why are Republicans, ironically, so much more progressive?

"Progressives" should actually be calling themselves regressives. But since they are dishonest with themselves and everyone around them, they try to keep the charade going.

Well Republicans did elect a NYC liberal Democrat pro-choice, pro-gun control, pro-government messing with the economy president so I see your point.

We are generally more positive people.

People like Candice Cameron Bure just drive liberals wild. Sarah Palin keeps them awake at night. James Woods causes them to break out in hives.
And Fox News?........... (Shudder)... They talk about what is GOOD in America! How can a liberal honestly point out why America sucks with that sort of noise in the background??!!

Dems never describe themselves truthfully.
They have an ideology that relies on deception, lies, fantasy and fakery.
Ever if they win, in the end they lose.
The beast they create has to be fed and they will eat their own.
We have already seen examples of that. Where one PC identity attacks another.

LOL, what an outright lie. Did you learn to lie like that from your master Trump? Republicans are still stuck on Obama, Hillary, and Bill. The only ones who mention Gore are Republicans like yourself. Republicans act like Bush and company never existed. Republicans are so far from being progressive it isn't funny.

You are in Russia, if you voted for Trump you should now know that he is not a true Republican and only cares about making the rich richer. Many Republicans are turning their backs on him.

Seems to me that mainstream republicans are abandoning the republican party as it's become the party of trump. I guess you could call them progressive as they want no part of the quagmire trump has created.
