Personally, I think Mueller has the legal right to request Trump to testify before Grand Jury--
I know plenty of Trump supporters don't think so and most of them have less legal weight on their side than I do on mine

Trump won't do it voluntarily that is for sure--he never would have no matter what type of spin he put on that possibility...

So if he is served and refuses to testify--or even refuses the subpoena-
I think Trump will fight it all the way to the Supreme Court---
and I hope he loses and is required to testify
And it likely could go very quickly through the appeal process...

First, Trump will tweet something unhinged.

Next, he will whine about the injustice and cry about how the world and "fake news" is against him.

He will then say he will testify before he says he will not before he says he will before he changes his mind.....

Eventually he will testify after which he will come out and claim victory right before his legal team quits.

You left out where he'll say he was never keen to interview with Mueller, and that he never said he would like to sit down with Mueller, followed up with more Witch Hunt! No Collusion!

After his attorneys advise him, he will first call Hannity for some conspiratorial non-qualified opinions. Then he will go on Fox & Fiends and complain about Mueller, the Deep State, the DOJ, and any of his staff he is pissed off at. In between, he will send out 25 incomprehensible insulting stream of consciousness tweets.

Then he will do his hair and makeup while watching cable news and will send out more insulting, misspelled and incomprehensible complaints and grievances about the press, Hillary, Obama and whomever else he feels has dissed him.

Then he will fly to Maralago or NJ, depending on the season, and play golf. After that he will have a nice piece of chocolate cake with two scoops of ice cream. Then he will watch more cable tv to see how his stupid tweets are going over and send out more of them.

Then he will hold one of his pep rallies to vent to his adoring fanboys, who will nod like bobble heads and scream that they love him because he is their sun and moon.

Then he will forget what he started the day complaining about and go back to his club to review the magazines with fake covers of him that are hanging on the the wall.

I'm with you on the first three, but the end result will be the ultimate "HOW BROKE IS HE"? Is trump broke enough to try and hang on, or can he fund the rest of his life after slinking away from the presidency.

This sounds about right.

Trump will plead his case on Hannity and Fox and Friends. Making a total fool of himself. As always.

LOL...What does that even mean?

Here's a pretty good explanation of the possibilities, none of which seems probable enough to have a strong opinion on. Though I do think that the authors over-estimate the "political consequences" of invoking the Fifth in this long-time hostile political climate.

If you claim the 5th you have a problem. One which Trump commented on.

In the case of the sitting POTUS you claim the 5th, resign the next day. Nothing you will be for will ever see the light of day.

He doesn't have to take the 5th.
He can use the 6th.

the right to know who your accusers are and the nature of the charges and evidence against you.

If no one is charged with a crime what is Trump supposed to be a wittiness for or against ? Mueller should invite Trump to tea and cookies.
