On the evening of 9/11/2001, I thought the world was ending. I had no idea if we'd see another day, another week or another year. I lived just a short distance from the World Trade Towers.
Little did I know that people like Gina Haspel would spring into action and give us another day, another week, and heck, so far almost 18 years.

War is ugly and messy and evil imo...... Last resort. Torture is on a whole other level of evil. When you are under the torture you will say anything and everything to make it stop. A human being would say their own mother was Bin Laden's top terrorist if they were being tortured. If we have no morals then what's the point of pretending ? ... I also want to point out that there will come a day when it's not just brown people being tortured. Chickens always come home to roost. When the Nazis did it to their war prisoners it was an ugly part of western "civilization". When Columbus did it to the natives it was "history". Let's not bring that back. Leave that to reruns of Game of Thrones.....
