Sharing how they live their lives would be saying something like, "I live in Smithtown with my husband and four kids. I love my two cats. On the weekends I love going to the library and shopping. I also go to Smithtown Methodist Church most Sundays."

The fact that a lesbian teacher exists in the community is reason enough to understand that different types of relationships and families exist. Its not inappropriate to have this understanding.
IMO, some subjects are better left to families to handle.

You misunderstand my post.
For parents to make changes in schools they need to pull their kids so the school is affected financially.
It is the only recourse parents have left. Schools do not care what parents think. 90% of parents can agree, and the school board will enact policies against these known parental wishes. It's happening. I guess you think it's funny when parents have no control over what their kids experience in the classroom.
