You likely heard about Trump's tweet:

"Who’s going to give back the young and beautiful lives (and others) that have been devastated and destroyed by the phony Russia Collusion Witch Hunt?"

https://www.huffingtonpost.com/entry...1?guccounter=1

I wanted to point out, not just his hypocrisy, not just his hyperbole, but his limited, superficial vocabulary. If Obama were in a situation where he thought newcomers were disheartened, he would say sadly that bright, idealistic people were deterred. But Trump never thinks of brains, nor of high ideals. He can only think in superficial terms of youth and beauty.

Oh, really? Do you often catch me with superficial posts mocking Trump's hair? Or his "orange" complexion?

That is, of course, apart from the fact that I'm an ordinary citizen - I'd hope we'd expect a higher standard of our president.

Since the tweets were made back to back, he was probably talking about the 400,000 people, with Rolling Thunder, who had shown up in DC, which he'd tweeted about.
Where did he call these people beautiful? He said their lives were beautiful, not them.
Probably all in Rolling Thunder, who had made the trip, are younger than him, so is it wrong for an older person to refer to them as young?

"If Obama were in a situation where he thought newcomers were disheartened, he would say sadly that bright, idealistic people were deterred."
You're professing to be his speech writer now?

IF obama were going through the exact same thing that Trump is going through, he would be blaming everyone under the sun. For 8 years he blamed bush for his own failings, nothing would stop him from blaming others for a witchhunt.

Young beautiful lives my butt. The only lives messed up by Trump's collusion were those who were criminals anyway. What a jackass Trump is.
