Professor Stephan Bevan, of the Institute for Employment Studies says he thinks that obese should be able start work an hour later to ease rush-hour anxiety or work from home.

Just another example of how according to liberal elites in acadamia that should be special rights given to a specific group.

There seems to be movements in general that specific groups should get more time off then others.

I am all for reasonable accomodations for those who have a disability. I work with an employee with severe IBS and Colitis and am 100% for that person being able to leave early if they need to or spend extended periods of time in restroom. After all they are just trying to make the best out of a bad hand that was dealt to them.

However, it seems like there is now special protections that liberals want to extend for voluntarily situations like paid-maternity leave, child care subsidies and now they want later start times for those medically considered obesity.

Why should I start an hour earlier according to liberal academia because I am a certain weight.
