I think it's just wrong to name call but that could just be me.
It’s wrong to name call but I don’t think her using that word would have had such a dramatic reaction. Comedians push the envelope, some take it too far like Barr, Bee and Griffin.
Even as a liberal, I rarely find her style of humor at all humorous. Her rants are often similar IMO to Bill Maher, sounding more like a petulant child than a witty comedian with a political view point.

They are/were employed by two different networks. So two different reactions.
The former was a racist tirade. This was about something necessary.
