Completely believable. People who are married often go into it with the idea that they always take their spouses side, and that their spouses loyalty matches theirs.

This makes the betrayal so much worse in the end. If Melania ever sees sufficient evidence that she cant deny the Secret service protecting trump are going to have a REALLY hard day.

Melania is a bright lady, and she knows what he is. But I think she prefers to keep up appearances for the sake of the boy. Hillary did the same when Bill was playing around, a lot of women (and men) do it too.
