Name one progressive policy that doesn’t need guns to implement.
A vote to raise a sales tax to finance a progressive policy. If it passes at the polls, it wasn't because anybody was forced to vote yes under gunpoint.
The method of coercion might be less primitive than gunpoint, but it is the self-proclaimed "progressives" who, time and time again, have displayed their self-righteous arrogance, and have attempted to force the group-think of their clique on all of us, in the name of some supposed "greater common good". which only they -- the faux-"progressive" illuminati are capable of understanding.
What about the Republicans who want people to vote to raise the sales tax to fund new civic projects? They'll tell ya it's for the common good by making the city more attractive for new business and industry--their future donors!
The author's take on the whole Ferguson play/narrative is spot on. I've seen many a leftist show similar disdain to the truth in that case, all while continuing to push the convenient "hands up, don't shoot" lie that supports their view that America is a racist hellhole where police are out to kill minorities.
i'm a legal immigrant too and I have a completely different take.
go figure -- Immigrants come in all shapes and sizess and along the political spectrum.

Conservatives care more about the environment and public health, want to fix the problems and actually have solutions.
Progressives care but they want to force others at gunpoint to pay for their fantasy.
Nothing a single policy from the progressives can be implemented without forcing people at gunpoint.
Why to Right Wing Extremists always have to use this hyperbole? Do you think this actually helps your cause? "Obama is a tyrant, national health insurance is communism", etc. It all sounds so childish and absurd.
