Charity basketball game will be aired on Kimmel's show on Monday. Funny!
I was surprised that Cruz is three years younger. Kimmel had poked fun at Cruz, calling him a blobfish, so Cruz challenged him. Have you noticed that Kimmel is always on the losing end when he taunts conservatives?

I'm sorry - are you equating "losing" to conservatives with the results of a basketball game?

That's not how I see it.

I'm surprised that Cruz is younger, too. He seems to be universally hated in Washington, and that kind of animosity usually takes longer to develop.

Just for reference... the people in Texas like what he is doing. That's all that matters.

Typical liberal... centered on what DC thinks.

Kimmel oughta shoot himself for losing to someone as wimpy as Ted Cruz...a guy that so soft that he makes a cotton swab feel like a brick.

Ted Cruz is the quintessential Republican who as a kid got his milk money snatched.

He does have a hand in introducing and voting on legislation that affects all Americans, does he not? He's also on the committee on the armed forces and the committee on the judiciary.

It took Cruz and Kimmel 1 Hour, 20 Minutes to score 20 total points but they raised $40,000.

I am just saying DC has nothing to do with him being there.

The charity is a good thing. It would have nice to focus on that instead of attempting to trash Kimmel and Cruz.

That's nice. Meanwhile the limp wristed liberal democrats kicked the crap out of the alpha male republicans in the congressional baseball game by a score of 21-5.

Oddly enough, Senator Rafael Edward Cruz (born in Canada) played basketball in high school. Varsity team. I would not have guessed it.

Senator Cruz is popular with many Republicans. However, it is not overwhelming. I refer you to the Texas Republican Presidential Primary, in which Mr. Cruz failed, by a pretty wide margin, to get 50 percent of the vote. I had written back then that every other Texas 'favorite son' Presidential candidate would easily surpass the 50 percent mark (which meant they collect all of the delegates, not a percentage).

Even Senator Cruz noted the other day that his Democratic opponent, Beto O'Rourke, was out-fund-raising him.

Regardless, I was pleased to see that Mr. Kimmel (whom I recall from Win Ben Steins Money) and Mr. Cruz did something fun for charity.
