I don't watch TV a lot, but do read the news online here and there. The one bit thing I've noticed recently in the online and on TV news is the differences between some news outlets compared to others. Most of the time I'll think Trump's camp has gone entirely mad, the world is ending, the sky is falling, etc... then another news outlet will show nicer pictures of the same events and a different story. Example is the First Lady traveling to visit the child detention center. My god they showed her with an army jacket with graffiti on it. Then another site says that picture was taken on June 6. Why are they implying she wore it to see the kids???

It seems maddening to me that I can't trust the news. Don't they have rules about being honest?

How are we, the citizen supposed to get honest news anymore? Has anyone else noticed this?

Sadly you need to spend time, and effort to find reliable news sources.

Has anyone noticed you asked.

Yes, millions of people have noticed, as the trust in the msm has been dropping for quite some time.

Just stick to the solid sources like AP/Reuters rather than all the outlets that just rehash and spin their stories.

The news is nothing more than entertainment now. That’s what politics has turned into.

Everybody should disregard this post, while both AP/Reuters are slightly better than many of the other msm, both can be quite biased.

Care to elaborate? AP/Reuters are the most respected journalism outfits out there.

May be at some point they were but AP stories are riddled with opinions and innuendos. My portal is Yahoo and it is top to bottom anti-Trump headlines and stories. You can't say something bad about Trump and NOT end up on first page.

There are three English language TV news outlets available almost every day here in Japan - ABC, BBC and PBS. So I know beyond any doubt that your chart is wrong since those are clearly skewed left.

Get direct from AP/Reuters. Not from some source that curates and spins their stories for you...

And are you referring strictly to news and not opinion pieces? Examples?
