“This is a fake quote originally disseminated by a Troll account with one Follower that got retweeted over and over again. Folks, the Russians are still at work, promoting false information to #BothSides - be smarter than that!”
They should make what they're worth, which is determined by the market.
I sit on my butt all day long. We have a forklift driver in our warehouse.
I can do his job, and have.
He cannot do my job. He tried once and failed miserably.
The market said $56 an hour so it's really none of your business, correct? It would be fine still if not for the "Free Market" president enacting tariffs that are anything but free market. If not for the "Free Market" president threatening a business with taxes to put them out of business for not siding with him. How is that Free market, or Capitalism or anything someone can defend?

Could be due to training or aptitude, but ah there s noting in the books that states that a fork lift driver can't make that much and Unions help determine what is the going rate by withholding labor(Now just how badly do you need those fork lift drivers and how quickly can you replace them)....
Numbers are numbers. Not every business can survive tax hikes of this magnitude. In order to survive some will leave the US, and continue elsewhere. Some others might sell their companies to the Chinese, which will probably take them out of the US as well.
The consumers are facing tough choices too. Pay the government an extra 25% of your purchase of an AC, car, etc or settle for used or re-manufacturered products.
The sad part is that the tax-money will be spent on space-troopers which we simply do not need at this time.
