I think most oppose them, but for those who support them, the reason might be the same why conservatives oppose abortion, but have them anyway when they find out their baby has downs syndrome.

Is it because the illegals are future voters and the baby cannot vote?
Unwanted babies are also future voters. Many will grow up in poverty and will likely vote Dem.

What's false? It's a beating heart. What difference does it make how old.

A beating heart is not the definition of life.

Would it beat if it was not alive?

A heart can beat in the absence of life, and we recognize this in the medical state labeled brain death.

Democrats overwhelmingly supported Partial/Late term abortions until Republicans passed the Partial-Abortion Ban Act in 2003

If it were up to Dems, it would have been legal to have partial/late abortions in the 3rd Trimester.

They voted right down the party line when Rick Santorum introduced the bill.

Quote:

The Republican-led Congress first passed similar laws banning partial-birth abortion in December 1995, and again October 1997, but they were vetoed by President Bill Clinton.[14]

In the House, the final legislation was supported in 2003 by 218 Republicans and 63 Democrats.

It was opposed by 4 Republicans, 137 Democrats, and 1 independent. Twelve members were absent, 7 Republicans and 5 Democrats.[15]

In the Senate the bill was supported by 47 Republicans and 17 Democrats. It was opposed by 3 Republicans, 30 Democrats, and 1 independent.[16] Two Senators were absent, Kay Bailey Hutchison (R-TX), a supporter of the bill, and John Edwards (D-NC), an opponent of the bill.

Republicans are the reason why there are no longer late term abortions in America.

The three year old of course. What kind of sociopath would choose otherwise?

Brain dead from scissors being stuck in the back of their brain. Nice try though. Sneaky.
