Is this that civility the right keeps lecturing about?

No, it’s not. Notice that he was arrested. Have you read anyone celebrating his actions? Or even acting like he was justified? Or acting like his arrest was uncalled for?

Then perhaps the right should stop pretending they have the moral high ground, between this and all the racist videos we've been seeing. They have actual Nazis running for Congress. Let them get their own house in order.

The right only has selective hearing when someone on the left does something wrong. Otherwise, they are stone deaf.

Selective hearing?

The way I see it this fool carried a gun to a protest no doubt looking for trouble. He started something, pulled his gun and was quickly grabbed by the cops and arrested. I hope they throw the book at him.

What I think is hypocritical is how many on the Left are calling for ICE to be abolished and many on the Left are also highly critical of the police, their tactics and even equipment because it is scary. These same people would have the hands of the cops tied when doing their jobs just in case some criminal gets hurt yet the Left heaps praise on the Police when they protect them like in this case??

What do they want? A strong Police force or not?

Another point from the article is how they automatically label this guy a Trump supporter, WHY? Because he is white, looks greasy, carries a gun and is against illegal immigration? Imagine if he actually voted for Bernie? I doubt the article would have started with "Bernie bro supporter pulls a gun at a protest".

The right will not march to defend this man, as we know it was proper he was arrested.

No burning down buildings, no yelling death to the cops, etc..from the right.

You have a Constitutionally-protected right to carry a gun.

You don't have ANY right to pull it out and threaten people. Unless they are actively threatening you, which these people weren't.

The same is true if you're carrying a knife. It's your right to carry it. It's not your right to threaten somebody with it, except in legitimate self defense.

From the article linked above:
Quote:
"Somebody yelled 'Gun!' I saw the gun, him holding the gun. I started screaming for people to get down," said Ava Caldwell, another co-organizer of the event.

"I saw him pull it out. He said 'I will shoot everybody here' so
That's not just carrying a gun, which is OK. That's threatening people, menacing, which is not OK at all, obviously.

Throw the book at the bastard.
