Unreal run here. People who were on the sidelines, out of the labor pool are re-entering. Trump's economy is on fire. By my estimates the unemployment rate should drop again. We're entering 50 year low territory.

It's always fun to watch you people just make up facts. People are coming off the sidelines and re-entering the job market?

Is that why the LFPR is still at Feb 2015 levels? Or that at no point in Trump's administration has it climbed higher than Nov 2013 levels?

I only bring this up bc Conservatives like you refused to give Obama credit for the economy b/c of the "abysmal" LFPR.

The number comes out tomorrow, but 177K is not a good number.

WOO HOO Snce January 21, 2017 -- Trump has a 19 month streak for jobs added.

That is wonderful.

Add that to the 75 months before him where there was job growth -- and the USA is doing great.

Imagine that 94 months of job growth. That is amazing.

June 2016 there were more jobs added than June 2018 but that's to be expected right. We will see a slow down -- only so many people available to work right?

Correct as the labor pool shrinks it is harder to add jobs. Should see some serious wage inflation once that UE number gets super low as well.

177k is an outstanding number when you have 3.8% UE rate.

Why's the LFPR still lower than Obama levels?

Not with this labor force participation rate. Lot of people are not working, and have not worked for a long time.

population added per month is about 200K. Adding only 170k jobs is a net loss oddly enough. And its well below average. And below estimates. This is not good news actually. But given the high employment levels its not really bad news either. People should wait and see what the trends become.

The important thing we understand is that Trump's supporters will twist any news about the economy into proof that Trump craps sunshine and kittens, regardless of how empirically false or bad that news is.
