Did you notice the first part of your link where Manaforts lawyers entered a motion to preclude arguments related to collusion, seems strange since people are claiming there was no collusion with the Russians by Manafort. Anyway I agree this was never about collusion but the investigation could still lead to that conclusion. Muellers team was just responding to the motion.

Not collusion!!

That Trump can´t stop tweeting that its a which hunt, when all Mueller is looking into is if Russian operatives, either in Russia or embedded in the US, tried to sway American voters, directly or indirectly with covert or overt means.

Trump does not like that.. so he calls it a which hunt.

Guess he does not want to be outed as a Russian collaborator...

That isn't a crime. Never has been.
The rules for Special Council is a crime that has conflicts of interest, within the dept.

Not, here is a person and we have to find a crime.

You guys have been assuring us for over a year that Manafort was colluding with the Russians, as was Trump, and Mueller had all the evidence.

The problem is that Mueller isn't investigating Russians, he's investigating people connected to Trump in a desperate effort to find something on Trump.

In fact, the only part of the investigation that had anything to do with Russians, Mueller doesn't seem to want to go to trial, and prove his case.

I've been saying that from the beginning of the Manafort case.

However, the Trump haters on here all insisted that this was about collusion.

I posted this thread to show the Trump haters once, and for all that this isn't/never was about Russian collusion.

He is investigating both... Sorry to burst your bubble stburr91, but Americans, close to Trump where speaking covertly with Russians.

Since they can´t seem to remember what, who or where they met them, their credibility is severely lacking.

So a year now of the Trump haters all insisting that Manafort was colluding with the Russians is out the window, but we are supposed to believe you dems have any credibility on this subject?

Those two have been tangled in so many misdeeds, that there could be an almost unending string of separate prosecutions. But each charge needs to be kept focused and bringing in other issues, is not good legal policy. If too wide a scope is applied to a court case, the culprits might escape some of the charges. It's very important to our country, that all the crimes are proven and punished and we need to be patient.

Collusion or no collusion, this still seems strange.

Trump's victory was a complete shock to the establishment system. In their disillusionment, they had to put the blame somewhere other than themselves. Therefore, there is an investigation into Russian hacking and Trump must of colluded with them. Truth is, the establishment was drunk at the wheel and the enemy sneaked in to exploit their drunkenness. "The 1980's is calling for their foreign policy back" - Obama (2012).

He didn't pay all of his taxes in 2006 and Mueller knew about this from his days at the FBI so this has nothing to do with Trump or the Hillary fabricated Russian collusion delusion.

Probably because Meuller's job (as required by the Special Counsel law the liberals wrote way back when) is to investigate a crime..... and "collusion" isn't one.

In fact, have the liberals ever identified what crime the Special Counsel was originally empowered to investigate? The law says there has to be one, and it has to be identified in the papers submitted to appoint him.
Mueller was appointed by Republicans. He is a Republican. His oversight are largely Republicans.
