Oops, sorry Jams. I misread your previous post. Yes, Trump is DEFINITELY dead last.

Actually, if you look at the data, even the Silents didn’t rank FDR that highly. There's very few voters alive now that have any memory of FDR as president. Only 9% of Silents listed FDR as the #1 or #2 President during their lifetime. That’s no slight of FDR. His voters have mostly passed on.

I would have ranked them as follows:

1) Clinton
2) Bush Sr.
3) Obama
4) Bush Jr.

Too early to say where Trump ranks right now but he is definitely above Bush Jr.

"More than four-in-ten (44%) say Obama is the best or second best president of their lifetimes, compared with about a third who mention Bill Clinton (33%) or Ronald Reagan (32%)."

Summary - among people alive today, Obama is far ahead in their views of the best or 2nd best in their lifetimes.
No methodology as far as the % in each age group.

Noted in the article: Respondents in the landline sample were selected by randomly asking for the youngest adult male or female who is now at home

No offense - but many of these younger kids only had Obama to relate to - especially if their 18 - 24 and aren't out on their own and live in their own Utopia world - give it a few years when the have to start paying bills and mommy and daddy aren't taking care of them.

There hasn't been an even halfway decent President since Coolidge, and the number of people who were alive when he was President is VERY small and shrinking daily.

Something the Republicans were unable to do for some reason.

It would be interesting to hear someone describe what any future president would have to do, to be worse than Trump. I think his goal from the beginning, was to establish a standard that could never be undercut and he has fulfilled that ambition. So it's fait accompli for Trump and he can leave anytime and be secure in knowing that he will always be on the bottom rung of the ladder of achievement.
