Has the president allowed the sanctions to go forward on Russia?
What is delusional is not seeing things happening directly in front of you and then spinning it to your particular viewpoint.
Trump had the opportunity to unite this country and in fact has done the complete opposite by playing to his base only, his mean & spiteful attacks on those who either disagree with him or report facts that he can't spin.
Even those in the republican party avoid upsetting this petty man, the only ones who speak out are those who are leaving anyway. What's that tell you? It tells me that many more secretly disagree with Trump but, fear him.
He is a spoiled man child!
The division in this country started long before him, and the chasm it left opened up further after the election because he wasn't supposed to win. The media spun up the hate and the people on the left just ate it up. And it still continues, as we can see from threads like this. Any shred of a conspiracy or something impeachable gets clung to as a desperate means of hope that he gets booted out of office.
For those that are opposed to him, they just don't get that for some of us there really wasn't any other choices at that time to pick from.
“Best ally of Putin,” said Tuesday’s front page of France’s sober-minded Le Monde. “Trump makes it easy for Putin,” echoed German’s Die Welt. “Trump 0, Putin 1,” said the Finnish business daily Kauppalehti, playing off the just-concluded World Cup soccer tournament in Russia. In globe-spanning day-after news coverage, Helsinki, the Finnish capital where Russian President Vladimir Putin and President Donald Trump met Monday, suddenly became shorthand for what was widely described as a very bad day for the U.S. president. ‘Putin’s Poodle’ and other scathing comments emerge after Trump’s appearance in Helsinki
Once again the TREASONOUS, NO-IQ, SCUMBAG ,shows the world, what he is!

Yes there was division, however racism has gotten worse.
The media gets ratings and isn't always correct however Trump either doesn't realize or doesn't care that he gets people hurt when he spews his "the media is the enemy of the people stuff". I mean what really is the alternative? It scares me when he does that because that is how dictators act. Our friends and allies are now foes and our true enemy's are now our friends.
Maybe some felt there was no choice but to vote for him but, I can't get why some are still with him.
The tariffs will eat up any savings some people got from the "temporary" tax breaks for the middle class but, are permanent for the rich and corporations. Please don't give me the trickle down crap because it doesn't work.
Posts like the op are why people support trump. To proclaim trump is owned by Putin is delusional. If the writer says that, while in possession of full consciousness, it comes across as pure propaganda to discredit that speaker/writer.
Trump's actions against Russia have made Obama look like Putin's plaything.
Trump haters refuse to acknowledge the demonstrated evidence Obama was owned by Putin, as they both had the same objective, to weaken and divide America. when we see the headline, Trump is putin's poodle, it reveals the work of Putin and his kindred spirit Obama, continuing to spread hate and fear though their disciples, the socialist democrat party and its media propaganda machine.
Posts like the OP are a natural consequence of Trump's behavior.
To proclaim Trump is owned by Putin is reality-based perception.
Trump's actions against Russia have been submissive, cowed, weak and sheepish.
Trump realists (he tap dances with deserving hatred but he's too miserably pathetic for hatred thus far) see what's going on with his sycophancy toward Putin. Putin has used that big old wad of soft, much used TP and displayed it on international TV and video for perpetuity.
Meanwhile, Putin looked like the cat with the canary in his mouth. Quietly munching.
Trumpers need to get their story straight. (Ha!Ha! Whatever you can pull out of thin air for the moment. Right?) Sometimes it's that Trump's doormat relationship with Putin/Russia is suddenly a desirable and a good thing for the U.S. because Trump is doing it. [Very badly.] Whereas Obama's attempts at NORMAL diplomacy with consequences, such as sanctions, for bad actions are described as "owned" by Putin (who has not been happy about those consequences). Trumpers are as deceptive and/or delusional as their fearful leader.
Trump looked,at their meeting, like Putin had offered him a Novichok burger and coke. A well-known Russian "special" ingredient. Trump always fears being poisoned. Probably for a good reason. If it happens, the butler didn't do it. Unless recently hired with a hint of a Russian accent. (Old mobsters used to break knees as a heads up you were in serious trouble.)
WORDS MATTER. TRUTH MATTERS. LOYALTY TO OUR COUNTRY MATTERS. FAIRNESS MATTERS. REASONED ACTIONS CONGRUENT WITH AND CONSISTENT WITH REASONED WORDS MATTER. But this is spitting in the wind until Trump is gone. May it be soon. Despite their trying to pull the rug out by seeking to impeach Rosenstein.

Podcast of a terrific discussion of the Helsinki meeting with Jeremy Bash (Chief of Staff at the CIA and the Department of Defense under Obama) and Preet Bharara (Attorney General fired by Trump).
No scathing comments. Intelligent, reasonable, and right on the money. Well worth listening to.

When Putin and Trump approached the dais following their private meeting the contrast was striking. Putin, as you noted, looked like the cat who ate the canary. Their was a bounce in his step and a smirk on his face. Trump had a hangdog look on his face like he had just been caught peeing on the carpet and had been spanked with a rolled up copy of Russia Today.
