I thought this would happen historically, but it's happening sooner:

"How I miss Barack Obama.

And I say that as someone who worked to defeat him: I was a foreign policy adviser to John McCain in 2008 and to Mitt Romney in 2012. I criticized Obama’s “lead from behind” foreign policy that resulted in a premature pullout from Iraq and a failure to stop the slaughter in Syria. I thought he was too weak on Iran and too tough on Israel. I feared that Obamacare would be too costly. I fumed that he was too professorial and too indecisive. I was left cold by his arrogance and his cult of personality.

Now I would take Obama back in a nanosecond. His presidency appears to be a lost golden age when reason and morality reigned. All of his faults, real as they were, fade into insignificance compared with the crippling defects of his successor. And his strengths — seriousness, dignity, intellect, probity, dedication to ideals larger than self — shine all the more clearly in retrospect."

I think it's important to note that trump-voters are not really conservatives. They're reactionaries.

Conservative Says He Would Take Obama Back in a Nanosecond

I agree. We need to always keep a few failed, discredited liberals around to serve as a warning to normal people everywhere, how much damage they do, how few of their original promises they ever keep, how much they lie, etc.

Never forget.

Of course the swamp dwellers hate Trump. Just more proof he is doing exactly what we sent him to Washington to do

Well, he can have him because we do not need him.

No chance I am clicking on a Wapo link to help them in any way, shape, or form, as they are clearly fake news.

That said, I find it hard to believe any real conservative would say such a thing, even if they personally despised Trump.
I say this because Trump has stuck to a fairly conservative agenda, especially in his appointments for the federal bench.
If we had Obama or Hillary in office, rest assured our constitutional republics future would be in peril, just on that issue alone.

There are certainly some things not like about Trump, whether it be is crass/rude behavior, his inability to not tweet about every imaginable things (that should be worthy of a presidents time, etc.
Still he is trying to stem illegals pouring into our country, cracking down on crime, and getting the economy humming along, etc.
He actually came along at the right time to help expose the media as biased and unprofessional in ways the average Joe didn't know.
Plus we need someone willing to fight and not be PC to deal with the Democrats who seem to be going full bore socialism. Before too long they will be going communist (some are there already), and the complicit lap dog media would be sugarcoating it.

I wouldn’t. Not in a million years. Didn’t vote for him the first time. Didn’t vote for him the second time. Wouldn’t vote for him now, or ever.

You sent him to Washington to play golf and fire everyone in his administration ? Wow. Who knew.

Obama may have had flaws, but Trump has FLAWS ! I would love to see Obama back, if it were possible.
