The irony with the highly-liberal Hollywood is that Harvey and Daeida Wilcox, the founders of modern Hollywood as a community, were conservative. What they would think of it today would probably involve lots of face-palming.
This wasn't "the Left" that did this. It was a guy. Maybe he had some friends along with. But he damaged something and should be subject to whatever punishment is appropriate. He may still think it was worth it. But this is hardly the political policy of the left. Come on.
The star, already the target of numerous vandalism attempts since the 2016 election, was finally destroyed by a man brandishing a pickax early this morning.
Better yet, sock any organization this twerp can be linked to with damages and a heavy fine -- but that would be too much to ask.

Because, like the Jacobins, Marxists and Nazis, groups like ANTIFA (just to cite the most prominent), in addition to being essentially Fascist in orientation, are essentially criminal conspiracies -- should be prosecuted under RICO (Racketeer-Influenced and Corrupt Organizations legislation).
Vandalism today, assassination tomorrow; the (poisoned) apple doesn't fall too far from the tree.

With the exception of a small lunatic fringe, animal-protection advocacies such as the Humane society don't interrupt other peoples' lives -- or seek to silence those they don't agree with.
