There are a few bad actors over there that support terrorism and they need to be watched and who better to do that than countries in the region?

Trump does have some good ideas but the Left is so quick to denounce and ridicule anything he comes out with that his ideas will never get a chance.
Don’t be ridiculous.

This is one of the dumbest ideas ever uttered.

Oh Joy! America looking to stick its nose in yet another place it doesn't belong.

Let's focus on solving our own problems and let other nations do the same.

Of course it'll probably cost U.S. tax theft victims tens or hundreds of billions of dollars.

Talking Trump wants to create "Arab NATO" in Mid-East

And why not?

Just because the Arab countries aren't even reliable allies to one another, maybe?

Somebody should mention to tRump that they're Muslims.

It's a Saudi initiative to..... "combat terrorism in all its forms and manifestations, root out deviant ideologies, drain their sources of funding and take all precautionary measures to prevent terror crimes."

US-Arab Middle East Strategic Alliance By 2018

Why does the US have to be part of this Arab alliance?

The Saudis are trying to get Trump to open the taxpayers wallet, and so far he is dancing to the music.

I'm not selling anything what I was referring to is how Britain, France, Russia and since 2001 the USA has been trying to influence/ invade/ sway the people of the Middle East to bend toward their Western ways and some form of Democracy and the majority of countries in the ME are not buying it.

I like the idea of a ME NATO as long as America is not required to dump vast sums of money into it.

The ME knows what it wants and we should back off.

If Trump agrees to make an alliance with them, then we are required to go to war with them.

Lol, the main bad actors that are of concern to us are Sunni, the only reason we care about Iran is because of Israel. This is Israel first policy.

Al qaeda, ISIS, Al Shabaab, the taliban, boko haram = all Sunni, all grounded in wahhabism ideology taught in Saudi schools, but yeah, Iran, they are our problem, sure, go with that
