Everybody has the right to peacefully protest, and they can doing of their own accord, without any conspiracy or outside funding. Do you think these folks need outside funding to take a bus trip from NY to DC? I don't know why this is controversial. Even celebrities have this right. It doesn't mean we have to pay any more or less attention to them than anyone else. In addition, we all have the right to be stupid - to do or to say stupid things. It is up to the consumers of the news to filter out what deserves our attention and what is just stupid (or false.)
