They aren't bashing Trump -- they are supporting free press.
And yes -- it is important to note that is what they are commenting on.
The fact it contradicts Trump's statements i another story.
I see we still don't have a sticky thread to report all the fake news stories.
Everyday on this board folks rant and rage about fake news but rarely supply us with links to news stories that are fake news (often they cite links to opinion pieces -- discussion panels, etc.....that's not news -- that's opinion/entertainment).

What you would like instead is a state run propoganda TV. Don't worry, you already partially have that with Sean Hannity and Laura Ingraham.
Fortunately we don't live in a dictatorship - yet. Although it is crystal clear that Trump would love that, so you are just going to have to put up with the rest of the press as they are.

The "press" dislikes that someone is saying what half the nation is thinking. How ironic.
If these propaganda outlets were actually worried about what how they are perceived, they would instead be working to combat their negative image with the nation that they are working tirelessly to propagandize.
Instead, they launch a coordinated assault on the one guy who notices and has a microphone. Because they dislike that someone with a microphone has noticed their nature. These people are lower than dirt, and their own worst enemy. Moreover, there is no reversing their image.

Riddle me this. Trump is a continual liar. The media is consistently factual. How do you figure it's the media who is inaccurate? Think real hard about this. I don't expect a direct response to my query.

Home delivery of a real paper is going the way of the dinosaur - Newspapers are dying.
One of the reasons is that they spend more time on their Opinions and Politics than they do on "news".
I'm the Old Fashioned type - we actually get 2 Newspapers every day (only one on Sunday) - Local Paper which is not really "local" - it's McClatchy owned and the Wall Street Journal.
No Bash Trump & Whine in the WSJ, but I didn't expect there to be. Local paper devoted an ENTIRE page to their Whine - no surprise.
Absolutely nothing could have reinforced what President Trumps says -
"Fake News is the Enemy of the People" ...... they don't like him and we "get it".
None of that excuses the Daily digs at him and the mis-reporting or doing stuff like removing the word "fake" from his quote. Today's Collusion between 350 News Media validates exactly what Mr Trump says. They seem to think that all of the people who Voted for Mr Trump are just too "deplorable" to understand what they are doing.
As usual -- this will backfire on them and they will still be clueless about WHY he won and WHY they continue to have high negative ratings. Trust is lost in these fools.
They keep proving him right and are too stupid to know it.
Proving him right? Guess that's why the Senate passed a resolution stating that the press isn't the enemy of the people. Only in Trump's America, lol. Not that the resolution means anything, but still. Wish they'd do something meaningful about his sorry azz, though.
