Why doesn't Wyoming raise their own state taxes so they don't need to take $3.5 billion in federal assistance?
Isn't it time for Wyoming to pay its own way?
California has much higher population (largest in the country), more social benefits and much more desirable state than Wyoming who is virtually unknown even in this country. They run differently and also supply/demand.
That's certainly debatable. If I had to choose, it would be Wyoming over California any day.

Wyoming residents are subsidized by California residents. Why?
Let each state keep the income tax collected in each state and run their own programs, pay their own senators and representatives, ...
Each state would pay a 1/50th of the what it costs to handle federal government things, like national defense, interstate highways, upkeep on the WH, ...
Not sure how the national debt gets paid off this way, but I'm sure there is someway to make this work out.
