If the Salem witch trials taught us anything, the only method for a witch to prove their innocence is to be thrown into a river and if you float you’re guilty but if you sink then you’re innocent. Its fool proof.

The Potomac would serve nicely.

-or-

If tRump wanted to go home to NYC for his judgement, the East River is available.

The Hudson, too.

Throw him in the Gowanus canal.

Shifty schemes aside, it is difficult to imagine how Trump gets out of this.

It is too late to resign and given how many are getting immunity, toughing it out doesn't look like it's going to work..

Trump often brings the following sage Chinese proverb to mind:

"An empty cart makes much noise."

Think about that.

it is repulsive the Democratic Party can make itself to voters
And they are doing a great job
So -- What are the odds that Special Council Mueller, the State of New York and the District Attorney of New York .... ALL decide to (according to anonymous speculation) charge President Trump with Criminal Charges with 24 hours of each other??? City, State, Unconfirmed by US Senate "special council" that has powers that are MORE important than any US Attorney ?????
t
I'd say -- Slim & None that this is all just a Coinky-Dense.
What are they really saying and doing? A lot of "speculation" about what City/State/Federal might do + there are NO Sentences for ANYONE ...... and yet the Leftist Media and Rubber Bubble Folks act like a ton of people are in Prison. Flynn trial postposed AGAIN this week, Papagapolis Trial (he was supposed to be "beginning" and not it''s a nothing burger) with another DELAY.

All that said -- this is not in the purview of the US Supreme Court -- It COULD be in the purview of the Chief Justice of the US Supreme Court - IF the Nutter Leftists actually decide they can Impeach the President of the United States because he WON an Election they didn't think he should win.

They HOPE - he will resign ...... He won't.
They HOPE - they can attack his family and pretty much anyone he has ever spoken to in a Decade and THAT will make him resign ..... it won't work.
What Happened to RUSSIA-RUSSIA-RUSSIA???? Why is it all decades old IRS (with zero IRS audits) "crimes"???

What will work if Donald Trump wants to play hardball & "get out of the this Witch Hunt"
Easy-Peasy .... He brings it right back to RUSSIA-RUSSIA-RUSSIA and exposes the entire Mess.

The President can De-Classify EVERYTHING that happened in 2016 and into 2017 on the phony RUSSIA-RUSSIA-RUSSIA - up to and including all the FISA Warrants - the Federal Judges involved, everyone involved.

This is probably what is going to happen. The Fall-Out will be serious.

The more serious Issue right now is the New Precedent that the Leftist have established.
1). It is now Precedent for the opposing Party to the President of the USA to spy on opponents via FISA warrants.
2). It is now Precedent for the No-Knock Raids on Campaign Officials for Opponents.
3). It is now Precedent for Subpoenas and Raids on a President's Personal Lawyers. Client Privilege is DEAD.
4). It is now Precedent for an Opposition Party to convict in the Press with ZERO Evidence and act like Impeachment is inevitable, beginning right after an Election when a Party disagrees with the Results of the Election.
5). It is now Precedent to attempt to Nullify the Results of the Electoral College Results.

You really think that this won't be remembered? I refer you back to Harry Reid when he decided to set a new "Precedent" for Judicial Appointments ..... and GOP Leader McConnell Doubled Down on that new "Precedent" and extended it to any Supreme Court Nominee.

I often wonder about the folks that never consider -- "What if we are Wrong?"
I now wonder what TeamClinton and TeamObama wonder -- "What if the Cheeto Face decides to Blow it all Up and expose everything?"

He Just might do that -- and set another New Precedent

If we wait till the midterms, if we lose, then the Left can block this bill in the house of Congress that they win. And if they move to impeach and RINOs go along with them, then they have eviscerated the US Constitution and deposed a lawful President on bogus charges.

I do realize that Congress might not be able to pass such a bill (due to treachery) but that also actually works in our favor before the midterms because any "Republican" voting no against it will have outed himself/herself as a swamprat and we can vote his/her butt out at the midterms by voting third party as we can tell that they can't be trusted at all.

Also, if we go this route and lose the midterms, the thing would go into the court and might be able to stop any impeachment attempts or overturn them if they were ruled upon.
Nope. You’ve got the law wrong. The President has not been charged, much less indicted.

Nothing about what is good for the country, the people. Bypass the courts. "eviscerated the US Constitution." Time to talk about Hillary again? We didn't want her either but we want what is good for the USA and it's not this "president."
Anyone with an understanding of, and respect for the rules and principles of statecraft should recognize the moral bankruptcy of a "Trump coup", but does the Democrats' shift to the radical left, and their willingness to enfranchise (and bribe) anything short of a ham sandwich represent anything better?

We've turned away from the principles of logic and foresight and are left with two squabbling factions, each in pursuit of its own agenda at the expense of the other; "identity politics" has afflicted both parties.

So please explain to all of us how the Democrats' collection of disfunctionals, one-issue ideologues, and aging big-city grafters represents an improvement?

Last time around, my vote went to Johnson, but only because I overrated Clinton's collection of malcontents; I underestimated the wisdom of "swing voters" in Wisconsin, Michigan and my own Pennsylvania who rightfully saw Trump as the lesser of two evils, but as long as the Democrats remain in the thrall of the radicalism spawned back in the Sixties, my first priority will be to keep them out of power.
