Nah. McCain is history now. Trumpies can continue smearing a dead man but no one will care. Trump's back in the spotlight now.

I hope McCain's foreign policy is history now.

What's with this notion that what's true about someone when they're alive becomes smear when they die. Had McCain received a routine burial instead of the whole we're losing greatness show, nothing I or many others have said would be disputed.

I actually agree with much of the criticism of McCain as a war-hawk. But a lot of the criticism was personal attacks on his character. A lot of it was over the top dishonest. Just cheap smears. But smears or legitimate criticism not many people will care. Trump's the focus now.

I remember when European cars had amber front turn signals on all their cars - better to see the signals in the sunlight.

The U.S. dragged changing to it for years - we had to keep our costs down. And, we had to stay American!

One of my 1970 cars had to change a burned out one, recently, and the mechanic showed me that the cheap amber coating on the bulb wore off years ago. I got some new bulbs with amber glass bulbs, not the lenses, and not painted ones, the amber bulbs themselves!

I have nothing further to say about McCain.

How great was it to see Pres. George W. Bush give a speech remembering John McCain, and then see Pres. Obama follow up after him, only to close out with the Battle Hymn of The Republic?

Mine eyes have seen the glory of the coming of the Lord
He is trampling out the vintage where the grapes of wrath are stored
He hath loosed the fateful lightning of His terrible swift sword
His truth is marching on

Glory, Glory, hallelujah!
Glory, glory, hallelujah!
Glory, glory, hallelujah!
His truth is marching on

I have seen Him in the watch-fires of a hundred circling camps
They have builded Him an altar in the evening dews and damps
I can read His righteous sentence by the dim and flaring lamps
His day is marching on.
