So what exactly IS changing minds? You certainly aren't doubting that his approval is dropping like a rock???

These things tend to be lagging indicators - for example, his approval is still falling as a result of Manafort, Cohen, etc. - it will probably be a month before a book like this makes any change (if at all)....

But there is a slow drip/drip/drip and a number of rats fleeing the sinking ship. It's no different than anything else.....sooner or later the hits (and truth) takes a toll.

By the way, I don't doubt a staffer called Trump an idiot. Who hasn't called their boss an idiot (or worse)?

This book won't change anyone's mind about Trump one way or the other.

He was told ahead of time that Woodward was recording the call. He knew it would probably get aired on TV and Trump wanted to put the erroneous message out there that he wasn't given a chance to have his side heard in the book.

The Left is threatened by him. He is an outsider that dared to take on the DC establishment and he has not destroyed the country as they predicted but he is helping us to make positive strides toward a better America for all of us.

If things keep going like this Trump will be a shoo in for 2020.

But of course if the Dems should win big in 2018 there is no doubt that they will double down on the "IMPEACH 45!" rhetoric which will slow our progress and incite his base, further dividing the country.
I'm gonna have to disagree. The market is still largely Obama based and many economist on this forum expect a fall soon. Perhaps with the trade wars, it could be sooner.

As for impeach 45, he should be put up to it, it is the only way we will tell if Trump is telling the truth or not.

Listen to the OP and stop inflicting pain on yourself and your party. The OP is try to help both.

If we are going to have a two party system both should be healthy. The Dems are in therapy looking for the answers that can get them off the therapist couch. So far they haven't found the formula. Hate won't get them what they want.

Which was very funny since Trump says he should have talked to Kellyanne and asked who he talked to and Woodward says Kellyanne. He even gets Kellyanne to admit it on the phone.

On what planet would Trump be considered an underdog? Facing criticism does not qualify a person for that role, particularly if the criticism is mostly the result of bullying others.

She didn't dare deny it, Woodward probably had a tape of that too.
