Meh, have it your way, but it will come back to bite you. The next time we have a democratic president, and we are harsh with him, you guys are going to want to point out all of the things we let slide with Trump.
But that will just be “whataboutisms”.
We will be thanking you guys for adding that word to our vocabularies.
Maybe, maybe not.
In any case, I kinda doubt that any Dems will be reaching back three presidencies (as with Trumplings and Bill Clinton) for their what-abouts.
My “whatabout” was about candidate Hillary Clinton and more specifically, her lackey, AG Lynch, taking place just about 2 years ago. Just because Bill was involved does not make it about him.
The joke on the Democrats is even if they take over the House and impeach Trump, he will still be the president. The Senate will never go along with it. President Trump will appoint a new AG and go after everyone who challenged him.
The joke won't be on us. We would have done our duty. And if he appoints a new AG with the express purpose of retaliating against his enemies that will be real banana republic stuff...that would definitely be obstruction of justice at a minimum.
I think it's very noteworthy. He's attempting to inoculate himself from any blame if/when he is impeached, by blaming his voting audience ahead of time.
Interesting in that news clip. The guy on the bottom left of screen keeps nodding and smiling, and the other people in the audience are basically looking bored. Or confused.
Exactly, this is typical Trump behavior. If you recall in the run up to the 2016 election, which even he thought he was going to lose, he was already laying the foundation for shifting the blame with his ‘rigged’ nonsense.
Except, Trump's whole platform isn't that America was great. It was that he was going to make it great again, implying that it wasn't before he was elected.
Thank you. Sorry I didn’t see you had written this as I posted the same. Unbelievable that the y don’t see this.
sometimes the AG is loyal to the country instead of the President, Eric Holder and Loretta Lynch were loyal to their President instead of the country. One of those gets the honor of being the 1st ever AG to be held in contempt of Congress.
I don't always capitalize, so what. The poster said that trump would appoint someone who was loyal to him. I'm pretty sure Obama never asked that of anyone in his administration
Trump is president, not a god. The attorney general is loyal to our country not any president.

Wrong. In conventional English usage when not referring to any god other than The One, it is not proper to capitalize.
I am the LORD thy God, who brought thee out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of bondage. Thou shalt have no other gods before Me.
