Agreed. I don't even it as critical of the players. Good advertising is original and memorable, and that is probably the only goal these folks had in mind when they made the billboard. It's pretty hard to come up with a fresh idea for selling engagement rings.
People who are offended needn't shop there. There's no reason to threaten violence over it.
Violence maybe the only option especially since they can't get no one fired.
Death threats are a bit much but they are making light of a serious issue in our culture where many have been personally affected. Ad companies generally do suck and show poor taste and there are sociopaths that do not get that certain issues are not up for grabs to capitalize on.
OK, so a billboard is making light of an issue and in poor taste. Then, Democrats/Liberals/Left-wingers should protest every billboard in that town that has ever made light of an issue.

On Yelp and Google Reviews, lefties are giving the establishment 1 star, while those on the right and those that believe in free speech are giving the establishment 5 stars. Yet neither sides have yet to visit the establishment. I hope Google and Yelp steps in and shut down the reviews section of the establishment until this situation clears and the left looks for a new victim to terrorize in the name of sexism and racism.
