Hundreds of thousands of water bottles meant for victims of Hurricane Maria are still sitting at a Puerto Rico airport — nearly a year after the deadly storm, according to a report. A photo showing the bottles in boxes and covered in a blue tarp on a runway in Ceiba was shared widely on social media Tuesday evening.
“Although you don’t believe it… almost a million boxes of water that were never delivered to the villages,” posted Abdiel Santana, a photographer working for a Puerto Rican state police agency who took the pictures. “Is there anyone who can explain this?”
FEMA acknowledged to CBS News on Wednesday that the bottles were brought inland in 2017 in the wake of the hurricane and that they were turned over to “central government.”
Just another example of the corrupt local government in Puerto Rico, we saw some of the local officials lining up to criticize the President while they had a literal mountain of clean drinking water sitting there wasting away. This water could have saved lives, instead now it's unfit to drink and will be a total waste.

Trump is going to get the blame anyway.
They'll say he was in charge of local delivery's of water.
Apparently they didn't get enough rain and that will be his fault too. .

Where's that stupid woman who had the custom T Shirts printed by CNN while claiming that her people were dying in the streets?
Unbelievable, can you believe Trump did this ?! What an evil person. And he had the nerve to say such horrible things about women and the San Juan mayor....
This is actually typical during a large scale disaster. Donations flood in, but there is no way to distribute them to the people who need them. During the Carr fire they set up an evacuation center at a local college. When then mandatory evacuation was lifted, it was emptied out, except that hundreds of pounds of donated food, water, and clothing was left behind. The college just wanted to open for their students and wanted it gone. They were going to get a couple of dumpsters to get rid of it. Some people found out and went with pick ups and loaded them up and brought some of the supplies out to more remote areas.

Has nothing to do with corruption.
No, this isn't typical nor were these donations, these were delivered by FEMA and were paid for with American tax dollars.

That should be a cause for an indictment for one or more officials. This can be the difference between life and death.
