Eventually some calamity will come to the US and be its downfall, NO superpower/empire, remains the toughest kid on the block forever...someone tougher ALWAYS comes along eventually and knocks them down. I would guess the US downfall will some kind of financial collapse and it will be a domino effect.
My guess is not many will see it coming either, lots of people after will be asking how this happened, why did no one see this coming, etc etc.
So the upshot seems to be unless wealthy countries lower their living standards to that of the Third World, undoing all of the accomplishments of the Western world, we'll all burn up due to global warming.
And the gall of some Indian being indignant over OUR living standards. WE do not have 1.4 BILLION people. We don't have a caste system. We did not do what they did. Whatever their issues are - they created.
The main cause of any man-made contribution to global warming is overpopulation. That's not something that Americans or any Westerners are responsible for - we didn't do it.
