Many or most are tightwads and mercenary about money. Ever try to return an item in a store owned and managed by a Chinese family...lol Good luck with that. That is the other point...the family sticks together like glue to pool resources and invest. Nothing wrong with the family thing, but the attitude towards parting with a buck on behalf of another is tacky, anti-social and off-putting, but in the sociopathic self-serving culture the USA is becoming, it fits right in there.
