Well, unless there's another accusation between now and the vote, it looks like Kavanaugh will be confirmed! And more importantly the dems are learning that these kinds of scorched earth tactics aren't going to work anymore.

If they didn’t learn that lesson just now or in 2016 then they will next month!
So is "Not our SCOTUS" the next rallying cry? I get that this was a tough decision and I can see both sides of it, but the protesters and "resist" crowd worry me in terms of the lengths they will go on some of this stuff.
Correct. Both Korshuch and Kavanaugh have said they will not touch it, or gay marriage. Liberals should not have anything to worry about.
Actually, they haven't said that. They said it was important precedent, which is a self evident fact. It does not indicate which way they will vote in such a case.
Well done Senator Collins. Same to you Manchin (although it would of been nice if you announced before Collins). I wish Manchin success in November. Democrats would be smart to run him in 2020
I agree! I've been watching the debate live on youtube and was VERY impressed with Senator Collins' comments. She was calm, articulate and well spoken. Wish she represented my state. I'd vote for her. Instead, I have ..... well, I'm from California so you know what I have.
Manchin giving an interview and loonies calling 'Shame Shame'.
This is why they will lose again in November. Americans don’t like shutting down speech with bullying.
