If only they could prove these women were paid off to make up fake allegations.. in a "he said, she said" sort of situation where nothing can be proven it's hard to make a case for prison time, but people who make up false rape claims deserve 5-10 years in prison. Instead these particular individuals will be sitting pretty with all the money they will rake in.
Funnily enough -- it should be easy for the federal government to prove there is a money trail -- and they can't.
Doesn't that make you think somebody made it all up.
Funny how in this case -- although there is absolutely zero evidence to prove these are paid actors -- some accuse them of that.
Innocent until proven guilty? -- Just sometimes right?
Who gets appointed to his place on the circuit court?
Will he/she get the lynch mob treatment like Kavanaugh?
I fully expected that the Dimms would erect a guillotine in front of the Capital just like in the French revolution. That was where if you were accused, you immediately had your head chopped off.
I think you are wrong on this. I think this had NOTHING to do with Trump. He chose from a list...he didn't care -- he did what he was asked to do. The Federalist has been pushing Kavanaugh and he's in.
I don't care who the Republican President was -- Democrats/Liberals would not like Kavanaugh.
This was NOT about Trump.
And yeah the Democrats did still lose bigly....lol.....
You're right, I'm sure, that the Democrats and their leftwing handlers would not like Kavanaugh as they're looking for left-leaning activists judges that will legislate their agenda from the bench. But there were Democrats prepared to veto any candidate nominated by Trump as yet another means of obstructing Trump's agenda. Heck, Chucky Schumer even admitted as such.
Still makes me wonder how the Democrats would have reacted to Trump nominating Merrick Garland.
Um -- that's subjective. You think it was the right support.
I don't think it is anything more than a symbolic win. When Gorsuch was confirmed we were suppose to see sparks fly, fireworks -- the whole word was going to change -- nothing.
I suspect we will see little change in our lives from this nomination.
No -- I'm not an alarmist thinking this is the end of the world as we know it.
Barrett is next, as Ginsburg can be asked to leave/retire, due to loss of confidence after forgetting the 14th amendment..
