African Americans in Virginia who voted for the Democrat slate have hopefully learned a lesson. Unlikely, I know.

Is it possible for Fairfax to resign, Northam appoints Lt. Gov and then he resigns giving the Governorship to the appointee?

That thought occurred to me, too. It's such a violation of the spirit of elections to allow a disgraced governor, forced out due to issues surrounding racism, to appoint the next governor. What if he picks a David Duke, as an angry f-u? There'd be nothing the people of Virginia could do.

There should be a special election. Gillespie should run again against whatever Dem wants to run.

That is a great question. Would the GOP controlled state legislature have to sign off on an appointment?

I don't think what is happening in Virginia would be much different if it was the Republicans having the same issue.

The Republicans wouldn't hand over the state to the Democrats either.

Let's not pretend Republicans hold any moral high ground with keeping politicians who have shown to have been guilty of affairs, poor judgement in their youth, etc.

LOL. I know. The party of Roy Moore and Steve King dares to point fingers.

With regard to the Lt. Governor - I think that he's entitled to the same thing Kavanaugh got - an investigation. Interesting that he has now hired one of the same attorneys that Kavanaugh did.

Wait and see what happens when the black face guys retain their position and the one black guy gets canned.

What mess!

Media is making a run on repub yearbooks as we speak.

When will the social justice activists come to the realization that the words or behavior they now use as diagnostic of a racist, rarely reveal a genuine racist. You think decades of exemplary behavior would be held in balance. their jump to conclusion is exactly what they pretend to despise.

I’m convinced the Republicans have something to do with all of this. Too many people all at the same time? Who is the beneficiary? A Republican, Coincidence? I doubt it.
