Why does the GOP only care when Dems are in office? It’s a rhetorical question we know the answer. I don’t know why so many average income Americans support politicians who are filthy reach and promote policies that benerfit themselves

Now watch, after the midterms suddenly they are going to claim we need to cut social security and Medicare to help the deficit.

Why do dems only care about the deficit when a Republican is president?

I don't recall a single democrats starting threads about the deficit when Obama was racking up a Trillion dollars a year in debt.

I think I'll go out and get myself a credit card with a $10K limit.

After I run it up to $10K I'll just keep increasing the limit so I can keep spending and never pay it off.

Because many democrats understand that you spend your way out of recessions. Using deficits this way is viewed as a good idea by most economists.

I, and others, complained that Obama should have focused on reducing deficits faster as the economy improved. But he was at least moving things that way. Under Trump we're blowing those deficits up in a way that will cause disaster long term. This is recession level deficit spending when we should be focusing on paying debt down. Its idiocy of the highest order.
