I think this is complete exaggeration and is giving Trump way, way too much credit and the American people way, way too little credit. I have doubts he wants or is even capable of such autocratic behavior.
The USA is not post WWI Germany or Turkey under Erdogan or Italy under Mussolini or even Communist Russia.
Nazis weren't socialist, mises obviously has an agenda here, and its not the truth.
From the NSDAP 25-point program:
7. We demand that the state be charged first with providing the opportunity for a livelihood and way of life for the citizens.
11. Abolition of unearned (work and labour) incomes.
(Unearned income is income gained through ownership of land and/or property.)
13. We demand the nationalisation of all (previous) associated industries (trusts).
14. We demand a division of profits of all heavy industries.
16. We demand the creation of a healthy middle class and its conservation, immediate communalization of the great warehouses and their being leased at low cost to small firms, the utmost consideration of all small firms in contracts with the State, county or municipality.
17. We demand a land reform suitable to our needs, provision of a law for the free expropriation of land for the purposes of public utility...
20. The state is to be responsible for a fundamental reconstruction of our whole national education program, to enable every capable and industrious German to obtain higher education and subsequently introduction into leading positions...
21. The state is to care for the elevating national health by protecting the mother and child, by outlawing child-labor...
The basic Nazi economic principle: "The Common Interest before Self-Interest!"
Well Nazis were socialists, and Trump himself is a socialist, so...
True, Nazis were Socialists and our Socialists use the Nazi Brown Shirt Mob violent and intimidation tactics like their German Nazi/Socialist brothers. Trump may be a Socialist but he's not a Nazi.

Just because their full official name was the National Socialist German Worker's Party doesn't mean they were socialist. By that standard I'd have to say the Democratic People's Republic of Korea is a government just like the United States. They have Republic in their name, after all. When is Kim Jong-un gonna be up for reelection? Same thing for People's Republic of China. China is not just a Republic, like the United States, but a PEOPLE'S republic - a republic of the people, by the people, for the people. The USA, by contrast, is just The United States of America. It is NOT a republic, otherwise it would be named The Republic of the United States of America. This is precisely what I would have to conclude if a nation's official title reflected the actual content and ways and manner of governing.
Nice try, but if the Nazis were socialist, then North Korea's Workers Party is a party that represents the ordinary workers of North Korea.

Trump is a Marxist.
