Shall issue laws are usually implemented in place of "may issue" laws, in which the issuing of a concealed weapon carry permit is discretionary (based on criteria such as the perceived need or moral character of the applicant). A third alternative, total prohibition of the carrying of concealed weapons, was in effect in six states in 2001.

If Hollywood is against something these days it's only so they can find a link to Trump and make it about him. He's taking up 99% of their head space and it shows. It's what many live for now and it's not a good look. Most don't even know why they do it, it's habit and provides a feedback that gives them pleasure somehow. Actually, WaldoKitty, the false statements are yours. The Trumps were under investigation in the 70's for race discrimination. Below is a small sampling of information from over 400 pages of documents released regarding that investigation and some of the records recount the stories of black rental applicants who said they were told no apartments were available, while whites sent to check on the same apartments were offered leases.
From a 1974 interview with a former doorman at a Trump building in Brooklyn:
A supervisor "told me that if a black person came to 2650 Ocean Parkway and inquired about an apartment for rent, and he, that is [redacted] was not there at the time, that I should tell him that the rent was twice as much as it really was, in order that he could not afford the apartment," the ex-doorman said.
