Not to scare anyone, but This is a question we should all be putting in the public domain right now, and drills should be rehearsed over how pollworkers should respond in the God forbid situation of a mass shooting at a polling station as a means of voter suppression.
NOBODY should have to fear for one’s life casting their vote on November 6th, on either side of the aisle. Can we unite on this American truth?

There is no metal detector at my polling location.
And government cannot force you, or me to be prey to anyone.
Just like you have voting rights, you also have the Bill of Rights.
There are no restrictions, in exercising more than one right at a time.
I have Conceal Carried, everywhere I go. A polling location is no different, to my right to defend my person.
I laugh at the businesses that have "gun free zone" signs. Are they going to try and disarm me? Or refuse me service, while I'm armed? LOL! They have not yet, in the loony land of Liberalville.
To answer the O.P. By law you cannot carry a firearm in a polling place whether or not you have a concealed weapons permit. EDIT........ In the state of Florida. States have their own laws as to this.

It is if on Federal property. But no worries, we're used to alleged 'law & order' people meaning only the laws they agree with.

No Statutory law, can violate the Bill of Rights.
Until the 2nd Amendment says, "Except when voting" that is an unlawful demand by government on an individual with rights that cannot be taken by legislation.

Unconstitutional legislation should be ignored. Voting does not remove our other rights. It cannot, or it would specifically say it in the Amendment.
No one can take your rights, unless they take your life.
Guess what protects the word "NO"?

That is why I stated... "by law". Whether or not you observe and follow the law is your choice. It does not change the fact that the law is on the books.
