Well, for one thing, I find it distasteful to be amassing military might against unarmed women and children.
For another, I find it distasteful that his basic idea of dealing with any problem is to escalate into violence.
I wonder how much it's costing? Maybe for the same money, he could funnel it to help things in their home countries. Maybe he could send those troops to wipe out Central American gangsters.
How do you know that all of them are "unarmed"? Did you go to Mexico and check each and everyone of them?

Oh stop with the melodramatics! Just pointing a gun at them isn't against the law. They will be armed in case they start throwing rocks or start being violent in any way. They should be allowed to defend themselves. Those in the caravan would have to initiate the violence first before our side were to take any action. That action doesn't have to be by firing bullets there are other ways to make them stop without killing them. Why do you assume that all of these migrants are unarmed anyway?
March back to their deaths? Don't make me laugh! Most of them are just seeking economic opportunity on the backs of the U.S. taxpayer it's been proven so many times in the past because most aren't fleeing death. Get a grip!
Trump is doing this "for show" five days ahead of the mid-terms. This "caravan" coming up less than a week before elections is pure luck for Donald Trump, and he is playing it up like these people are a major threat to our country.

This particular group of 15,000 people could probably be 'absorbed' by our welfare systems, but, the steadily growing, unrestrained 11-million ILLEGAL immigrants cannot! Therefore, these people seeking ILLEGAL entry represent a major threat to our country.
Every rational person knows that any sovereign country must draw a line somewhere when it comes to protecting it's borders. Even the Dems. repeatedly acknowledge this, while doing nothing, but, talk, while they were in power. Trump is only doing what the government should have done years ago.
