There are many who will tell you that this surge in white nationalism which helped elect Donald Trump is the backlash against the attacks on whites from minorities and women. We’ve seen the election of a black president and came real close to having a female one too. There are many whites who feel that this means they are losing the country.
To channel Chris Rock, what the eff are y’all worried about??? You still run this country! Look at all the CEOs of the Fortune 500 companies, the majority of the congressmen and senators, the Supreme Court, state governors... the list goes on and on. White people, and especially white men hold all the power that matters. Which is why the rest of us roll our eyes at this alt right “save the white” movement. Ok if you think you have been screwed over would you like to trade places??? Didn’t think so. Again like Chris Rock said “there is not a white man in America who would trade skins with me, and I’m rich!”
So on behalf of the rest of us, quit your whining, and count your blessings. You’ve got it real good in this country.

If you're white, you're guilty of everything wrong in the world
If you're black / brown / other and in prison for life for violating laws, you're just a victim of the system out to get you because of white privilege and aren't really that bad

Nope its more like recognizing that whites are a privileged race in America. With that knowledge you can work to try and create a more just and equal America or you can actively work to subvert all the progress minorities have made in the USA.

The system is set up to target and keep minorities down it is slowly changing but pretending like the system is perfect is ludicrious.

Funny. Isn't that what white people say to black people all the time?
After all, there are few places (just a handful of small ones) in this world run by non-white people that are even as close to being as prosperous, free and tolerant of minorities of all kinds. If white supremacy is the hallmark of western civilization, then it doesn't seem to be a factor in whether or not minorities are treated well. Seeing as how all black and brown countries treat their minorities magnitudes worse.
So...what examples would you point to in the world for white people to say, "Ok, maybe it's not so bad?"
If your primary identity is being "white", yeah you have some major issues to work through.
