Trump is without a doubt the single biggest cause for division.

If you can’t take the heat from the media, you probably shouldn’t be in politics. Trump really is a whiny baby.

A time pf when the media is lying is when a news outlet tells half-truths or total lies on something.

No, the New York Times, Washington Post, AP, Reuters, CNN, NBC/MSNBC (Comcast), ABC, CBS, PBS only report hard news, no opinion bleeds through. It is all facts with evidence, and sources that can be named. They are not divisive they are truthful! They do not promote any agenda, nor do they only air stories to advance their agenda. They are right down the middle.

How dare they say the Media is divisive!

It's called context... it's easy to be factually accurate but present those facts in a way that manipulates the reader/viewer.

Or to report news in a calculated and coordinated way that ignores positives and focuses on perceived negatives

I'll never understand why anyone wouldn't understand the media's divisiveness. They have been doing this long before Trump. I know those on the left want to pretend like this didn't exist prior to 2016, but "divide and conquer" has been their mantra for a while.

Not that Trump is a uniting character. He's not. But that doesn't mean that the media is honest or truthful. Two things can be true at once.

I wish we could discuss the media's polarization without relating it to Trump. I think only then can we actually have an honest discussion.
