Based on this an ABC News exit poll for the 2018 midterm elections, millennials had a low turnout nationally despite the March for our Lives, the #MeToo, #BLM and all this leftwing political activism. And you wonder why most Americans don't care what millennials have to say. Most millennials don't vote because they don't believe in the political process, and disillusion and apathy. They feel America is too conservative, not progressive enough like Europe. What do you say?
I (a millennial) don't know why some believe Europeans are progressive. LOL
But anyway, I think millennials are really like anybody else. Some vote, some don't, some care about politics, some don't; some are single issue voters, some are not. No need to overanalyze it.
So basically things are going pretty well in country...economically.
The biggest social push ever was made to get millennials out...sexism/racism, etc was made the common enemy for all the hip/cool/modern/dry sarcasm/oppressed/educated people....
Yet they still didn’t come out.
How do you get them riled up 2020? They have smartphones...try keeping their attention.
Maybe it's because they are finally started to bear some of the tax burden and realize all that SJW crap is expensive.
SJW stuff just doesn’t last long enough to keep their attention. If an election was held the day some pet social issue’s popularity peaks on Twitter - you might actually get them out voting. But yeah, the real world and taxes are also hitting them.
Anyone born between 1981 and 1996 (ages 22 to 37 in 2018) will be considered a Millennial.
So if you are 22 - 37 years old, you are definitely an adult and not some kind of spoiled kid lol
This said, I was born in 1985 and have nothing in common with a 22 year old. I found older people much more interesting.
