Admit it. You do so simply because you can't address a single thing said by that dozen or so articles from the European mainstream press. This included the very Trump unfriendly BBC.

(It's not CNN telling you what to "think" outside NA)
It's funny to me that you actually believe the things you type here.

You know that your post is 100% 2020 message-free, right?

Which is no different from the Dimocrat Party message in 2018, of course?

Which is exactly like what the European news outlets are saying.

Or did you fail to catch that? Maybe it's simply too elusive a concept for you.

Europeans React To US Elections

(and don't complain that it's ZH, all those comments come directly from the various media sources)
For having no message, they did pretty well in the midterms even with Trump's continuous fear mongering about the evil caravan that is on it's way.

Need proof?
Just look at all the democrat posters here on CD or comments under various news articles — no positive ideas or policies — all they have are extreme anger, intolerance, bigotry and ludicrous Trump is some form of orange jokes.

Another worthy NPC pronouncement. Orange man bad.

Don't have time to wade through several pages of responses, so will make this quick.

Unless something *major* happens and the economy tanks big time, and or some other equally devastating event like a terrorist act, DT will be hard to beat in 2020. Democrats should remember well how "hated" Barack Obama was in 2012, yet he still won re-election.

Economy is booming, unemployment is at historical lows, people are feeling very upbeat about their own situation and or the economy overall, *and* they have money in their back pockets. *THAT* is all which drives nearly 90% (if not more) of voters.

Worse for democrats is their party is being hijacked by SJW vampires spawned by Bernie Sanders. A whole group of them newly elected are heading to Washington in January with all sorts of big social spending ideas. The Cortez girl is typical; all talk is spend, spend, spend, without one iota of where the money is going to come from to pay. If that is the best democrats can do in 2020, they will surely loose.

As this past Tuesday's election proved DNC still has large problems in "flyover" states including the south. While they won seats in the House, senate was another story. This is important because for a democrat to win in 2020 he must pick up two or more states that went for DT last time around.

You should read the articles from those papers quoted in the links. Yes, one of them talks about Democrats' lack of a message, but there are a number of different papers quoted, from all over Europe.

Two things I took away from them: 1) Europeans were hoping that Trump's election was a fluke, and they feel the midterms were not the rebuke of Trump they'd hoped to see, meaning that his chances of reelection should be taken seriously; 2) Germany (and other countries to a lesser degree) is worried that because Trump wasn't repudiated that his foreign policy will take precedence again, and pressure will be put on them to pony up the 2% GDP for Nato.

Very interesting to read what they're thinking. Thanks WaldoKitty.

This is pretty much what I said before the election, which is why I did not take the takeover of the House so badly. Trump now has a nemesis to blame in the faces of Pelosi, Ocasio-Cortez, Waters, etc.

He is well positioned for 2020.

I thought that the European mainstream press was "fake news"?
