The state owns far more land than the feds do.

I dont support any president being so partisan. And save any comments about past presidents...I mean it for them too and for future.
Right, because California Democrats are so non-partisan or show such great leadership.

And Trump should absolutely tweet as much as necessary because we know that the biased liberal media certainly wouldn't put his message or his side of the story out there for him.

You can test this theory by comparing his public responses to recent natural disasters, such as hurricanes.

Have fun!

Key word: forest land.

Was your link to the map supposed to discount this?

I've traveled extensively through this state hiking and backpacking (since these are large passions of mine). The vast majority of protected forest land is managed by a federal agency, not the state.

He's the President of the whole country. He should be a good example. He is so far from it. Should be acting better that you feel CA Democrats are or whatever.

He is his own worst enemy a lot of the time. Twitter is proof of that.

Nonsense - 57% of the CA forest land is owned by the Feds. The state and local are only a few percent.

Yeah and him telling California to shape up and take care of this problem is exactly what the President should do. What did Obama do for this problem in his eight years?

What does that matter? The fires in SoCal aren't burning in a national Forrest!

It's disconnected logic.

The fires are burning on state and local lands, so how is that the responsibility of the feds?

Please explain.

^ They are just looking to attack Trump on it. If you didn't bring up these stats they'd be running away with their bashing.

The Leftists are really something else.

Sometimes Trump is fairly presidential. Other times he sounds like an angry 13 year old tweeting from the basement.
