ArmaLite Rifle 15.

The civilian versions of the modern sporting rifle known as the AR-15 are semi-automatic, and hence, by definition, cannot be classified as military assault rifles. The consumer versions are sold under the name "AR-15" mostly because of their cosmetic resemblance to rifles in common military use.

A rifle MUST be capable of automatic fire in order to fall into the "assault rifle" category. Essentially none of the modern sporting rifles sold to the public at large as AR-15s meet this criterion.

LOL that rifle hasn't been assaulted...

Oh if we do live in the same neighborhood, just a heads up. 3 of our neighbors own transferable machine guns

Most of us own multiple ARs AKs bullpups, and suppressors. Probably wouldn't know it unless you happened to ride by when any of us pack up to go hunting or out to the range.

Seems this lady did not think this through. Most likely she embraces the global warming scare and should support efforts by hunters and shooters to recycle their ammo for other uses. A poster has made a nice looking shot glass and you see a little ammo in jewelry and that sure beats ammo left in place and ending up at the landfill.
