House Dems today start the smear campaign/pre-impeachment with convicted criminal John Dean. The spectacle begins

What does John Dean know ? Dean has made no secret of his hate Trump bias.
What information does he have that is relevant to impeaching Trump ?
Maybe he will show up and eat some chicken and offer the wish bone pull to Chairman Nadler ?

Dean's dramatic appearance before the House Judiciary Committee, in particular, could create a spectacle not unlike the May hearing before the panel, in which Rep. Steve Cohen, D-Tenn., showed up with a bucket of fried chicken and a ceramic chicken statue Thursday to mock an absent Barr. In a March op-ed in The New York Times, Dean made clear his thoughts on the Trump, whom he called an "authoritarian president," in no uncertain terms.

The hearing today is basically an opinion hearing, curtesy of Chairman Nadler, expressing the opinion of democrats that want to drum up support for impeachment.
It "political spin central" for die hard Trump haters !!!
So far the democrats are relying on two criminals to make their case !!! Cohen and Dean !!!
The empty chair discounted !!!
It is available on C-Span today from 2:00 to 4:30 pm

Oh yeah, he's the perfect choice. He was also disbarred.

But hey, Raymond Burr who played Perry Mason is dead and not available. Robert DeNiro who is still alive has already used up his best material on Russia-gate but Jeff Bridges, who like Dean has absolutely nothing to do with the current issue, should really be called to testify as an expert witness in front of Congress because he played the President in that slimy political movie, "The Contender." He even was nominated for an Oscar for it meaning he'd put on the kind of dramatic show the Democrats are hoping for. Who knows, maybe he even knows a Russian or you know, someone who eats borscht, making him highly qualified to testify in a Congressional hearing on this matter.

Less than a hour to go before the spectacle begins !!!

John Dean admitted he isn't a fact witness but says he can provide context !!!

The Washington Examiner provided some context on John Dean and it isn't pretty either !!!

Impeachment drama is now a farce - Washington Examiner
https://www.washingtonexaminer.com/o...is-now-a-farce

He was, according to the FBI, the “master manipulator of the cover-up.” That’s why he was convicted of a felony and disbarred. Democrats love trotting Dean out in public, because as a former Republican he carries extra authority, or so we are supposed to believe. Dean also called for the impeachment of George W. Bush, while defending the most corrupt actions of Bill Clinton. His only role as a house-trained Democratic poodle is to sit up and beg for the impeachment of Republicans. If he’s the Democrats’ opening act, it doesn’t speak well of the glittering stars we're likely to see in the rest of their lineup.

I really don't know why they would talk to him about the Mueller report. He had nothing to do with it.

Oh my......democrats who have put off a trip to heaven have Nancy to hurry them along.

No point in delays now !!!

Less than five minuets to the opening curtain on the House Judicial circus act !!! I wonder if they will bother to swear John Dean in. Not that it would matter when he doesn't have any facts to begin with.

This statement means nothing unless applied across the board. Any politician who shows disdain toward another politician is not to be trusted because they are biased. So Trump can't be trusted with what he says about the media, the Democrats, specific politicians, illegal immigrants, etc.
It matters all the time or it doesn't matter at all, end of story.

You don't know the story and appear to be reading out of another book. Certainly not the one being written today with this hearing.

Keeping things in context with the hearing today, which is what this thread is about, Trump isn't in the witness gallery. Its another continuation of the one sided story against Trump.
The witness today are not politicians at all but some are nothing more than democrat media pundits. Its as if to qualify to be a witness today, in this hearing, they have to be like the same kind of people Mueller hired to run his investigation. 18 agree democrats who hate the President.
John Malcolm seems to be the exception and Nadler may regret that and treat him as a surprise hostile witness !!! One out of three wasn't expected !!!
