We are entering the second half of Trump's Presidency, and still we find that our "news" media treats the Trump Presidency with kid gloves and refuses to report on the Administration in a factual manner.

From Fox to CNN to MSNBC, they have consistently avoided reporting on the Administration with credibility. First, they refuse to inform us that much of the information flowing from Donald Trump and his Cabinet is essentially propaganda. Secondly, they refuse to act as professional journalists and acknowledge the reality the Trump movement is effectively founded on neo-Fascist ideology.

Why are the words "propaganda" and "fascism" so hard for the news media to articulate? Is the main stream news media really performing their duty as objective journalists by refusing to acknowledge what is obvious to everyone in America that still engages their brain? For some reason these words are too emotionally charged for them to use - or maybe no one network wants to take the first plunge in using more accurate language to describe the obvious.

What it comes down to is that most news media in 2018 is driven by advertising dollars; and their business model is (and has been for decades) to provide infotainment. That's a huge problem for a democracy that depends on factual news reporting, because the American public no longer reads for the most part. They would prefer to view some sanitized glob of pictures and pretty faces on the screen rather than listen to boring accurate reporting.

As the lines become blurred between the news media and reality TV, it's a perfect opportunity for Trump. He knows they are all afraid to really tell the truth about his tactics and his ideology, because he knows that their product is entertainment, not the presentation of facts or "news".

Now there's some incisive analysis. Did you actually have a rational opinion on this topic or is all you have the usual ad hominem attack?

There is no need to say anything about that absolute garbage you spewed. It's better to let it stand on it's own so everyone can see how F'ing stupid it is.

Well so far, we've had one ad hominem attack, and two attempts at diversion. Still waiting for any sort of comment or counter.

Newsflash: "F'ing stupid" is not an argument. It's a sign that you don't have any reasoned opinion.

Only a real idiot would agree with or have anything constructive to say about the OP. It's purely delusional and filled with lies as usual.

Your appeal is based primarily on personal opinion and demagoguery, not fact or even widely held views (neo-fascism? - where did you hear that?). For another thing, the notion that the media has treated Trump with "kid gloves" suggests you have been living in a cave for the past two years. In truth, with the exception of Fox, the media has and continues to do little more than attack and denigrate anything he or his administration does. (You are probably right on all sides when it comes to editorials versus news).

You claim nobody is answering your questions, but, you haven't really asked legitimate questions.
Instead, you spout your own views and conclusions in a far left rant with little or no substance to back it up ... and then snidely demand others defend themselves against your empty charges.

" ...still we find that our "news" media treats the Trump Presidency with kid gloves and refuses to report on the Administration..."

From what I have read from the Main Stream Media, I find that statement beyond laughable. The MSM has never treated trump nor his administration with "kid gloves", IMO. If the OP really believes the "kid glove" treatment, that is his problem, not mine.

"factual manner"?? that is an even bigger joke.

No, sorry, OP, but I (and many others) just don't believe your vitriol.

It is entertaining, though, in a low-brow, leftist way.
