Don't get me wrong-Obama was a terrible president and did plenty to harm this nation. But AOC takes stupid to an entirely different level. Look at the bright side-we have entertainment for a couple years...and it will beat seeing Maxine's face on the screen as the dumbest person in congress.
Please, I'm middle class and I support AOC even though I don't even live in NY anymore
I will always support a progressive income tax, because even as I've moved up the income ladder, I haven't forgotten where I started and how hard it was; plus I'm not a bootlicker of the rich
progressive=discriminatory
I thought liberals promoted equality, not discrimination
If wages aren't rising, how can it be their fault? AFAIK, every year regardless of what happens, the IRS will adjust the tax brackets to account for inflation. If one's wages don't increase (increase greater than or equal to inflation), they will get essentially taxed lower and lower... until 0 income tax over decades.
We know that wages have not been keeping up for the past 40 years...
There are an estimated 10-30 million illegal immigrants in the USA who are the direct cause of this problem.
The problem is is that the base cost of living is more or less the same for everybody, so that 15% would be very damaging to someone earning $20k per year, where someone earning $200k per year will still be fine
Then they need to pay up, and pool resources with what's left with others. In other words... get a roommate or two to split expenses.

Not stealing their money, isn't exactly the same thing as boot-licking
I've always said the 50% of Americans who pay zero federal income tax, should start paying their fair share instead of using their numbers to vote to steal even more from the very people who are carrying them.

People earning $20k/year or less already have roommates, don't be dense
